Stepping out of the Comfort Zone: Danielle’s Journey into a New Career

Four years ago, Danielle Wagster, BSN, RN, PCCN-K was speaking with a good friend about her experiences working for Conduit Health Partners.  Danielle was drawn to her friend’s stories about the inventive and exciting things that were happening at Conduit, the amazing work environment and how she really felt renewed in her professional life.

Despite Danielle’s satisfaction in a previous role within a health system, her friend inspired her to step outside of her comfort zone and pursue a new opportunity with Conduit as a clinical educator.

Danielle’s transition to Conduit was not without its challenges, as she navigated unfamiliar territory and adjusted to a different work environment. However, her background equipped her with the necessary skills and insights to excel in her new role. Drawing from past experiences working at a health system, Danielle found herself uniquely positioned to understand the needs and challenges faced by frontline healthcare providers, a perspective that continues to inform her approach to supporting Conduit’s nurses and clients.

Danielle has subsequently been promoted to Manager of Clinical Education.  One of Danielle’s key responsibilities is to oversee the RN licensure and education requirements for all of Conduit’s nurses. This critical task ensures that nurses are properly licensed to provide care to patients across the entire United States, a responsibility that speaks to the company’s commitment to increasing access to care nationwide.

What Danielle enjoys most about her role is the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of frontline associates. For her, there’s immense satisfaction in knowing that her efforts contribute to the ongoing competency and well-being of those on the frontline of patient care. In addition, being a part of something new and groundbreaking fuels her passion, as she believes Conduit Health Partners is leading the way in shaping the future of healthcare.

Danielle Wagster Family

Beyond her professional pursuits, Danielle enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, indulging in her love for camping (or “glamping” as she fondly refers to it), and cheering on her son during baseball season.

At the heart of Danielle’s motivation lies her family, particularly her children, whom she hopes to inspire through her work. By demonstrating the value of stepping outside one’s comfort zone and embracing new challenges, Danielle aims to instill in them a sense of courage and resilience.

In Danielle, Conduit Health Partners has found a critical member of their team and an example of adaptability, passion and dedication.   Her journey serves as an example of challenging yourself with something new.   When looking back, Danielle reflected on her good friend that started this new journey, “she inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and attempt something new and I will forever be grateful.”
