We are always seeking to grow our team with engaged and enthusiastic professionals who want to work closely with patients and caregivers in a non-traditional role. Key positions include:

RN Triage Specialist

An RN Telephone Triage Specialist focuses on connecting patients to the appropriate care.   We are looking for RNs with primary licensure from a Compact State (preferred) and at least three years of clinical nursing experience including patient triage experience (preferred); BSN also preferred.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accepts incoming calls to triage the severity of patient symptoms as presented by the caller and directing the patient to the appropriate level of care.
  • Responsible for clinical assessments and patient and family education based upon sound nursing practice and judgment as well as documentation within the medical record.
  • Scheduling patients for physician practice appointments, per protocol and policy.

RN Patient Access (Full-time and part-time)

An RN Patient Access Nurse works collaboratively with referring facilities, physicians and hospital staff members to coordinate patient movement. The ideal candidate is a graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred and has three years of related clinical experience in an acute care setting; emergency department or critical care preferred.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answers incoming calls to coordinate access and throughput of patients.
  • Triage and prioritize patient information and communicate an accurate clinical presentation of the patient for accepting physicians and nurses.
  • Communicates with physicians and outlying facilities regarding patient access, potential bed placements, and assists with coordinating patient movement from one facility to another based on defined protocols and criteria.
